Why does this surprise anyone? BlackBerry devices are clunky and use a weird internet-pass through to route e-mail to the device (which significantly limits what you can do with e-mail on the device, and all but obliterates syncing with your online inbox or folders.) The BlackBerry internet e-mail service is archaic and anachronistic in an age of touch screen devices that behave like laptops. Pretty much whatever RIM does will be too little too late. That’s why I ditched the BlackBerry last month in favor of the HTC Eris.
